Submissions for "Top Citizen Science" are open

The FWF program supports citizen science extensions to existing research projects.
1 min read · 13. February 2024

The "Top Citizen Science" program is aimed at scientists who are already conducting an FWF-funded project. In order to support research activities that actively involve citizens in these research projects, a citizen science extension project with a volume of up to €100,000 and a maximum duration of 24 months can be submitted. Other partners such as schools and associations can be involved in order to reach people of different ages, genders and social backgrounds. Whether collecting data, sharing observations or contributing experiences - there are no limits to the forms of participation.

The deadline for applications is April 8, 2024. Further information on the call for proposals can be found on the website of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
