#ConnectingMinds: Second round of calls for transdisciplinary research approaches

Funding objectives

With the #ConnectingMinds program, the Austrian Science Fund FWF encourages researchers to involve stakeholders who have not yet been reached or have hardly been reached at all. Funding is provided for teams that combine scientific and social knowledge in order to meet the social, technological, ecological and economic challenges that lie ahead. The focus is on transdisciplinarity, innovative research approaches and the support of social commitment as well as the promotion of collective learning spaces.

Program structure

The #ConnectingMinds program is divided into two stages. During the first stage, two to five researchers will have the opportunity to submit an application for a #ConnectingMinds workshop.

In the second stage in autumn 2024, researchers can submit a proposal for a #ConnectingMinds project based on the results of the workshop and further substantiate the research project.
