Citizen Science Award 2023: Submit your project!

For the ninth time, the OeAD-Centre for Citizen Science, on behalf of the BMBWF, invites Citizen Science and Open Innovation projects led by Austrian institutions to participate in the Citizen Science Award. Within the framework of this research competition, pupils and all interested parties can once again participate in research on selected projects from 1 April to 31 July 2023. The most committed Citizen Scientists will be honoured at a ceremony in autumn 2023.

NEW: Starting in 2023, in addition to schools and individuals, families can also participate in research and win.

Registration is possible via an online form. The submission deadline is Monday, 21 November 2022.

The BMBWF and the OeAD-Centre for Citizen Science will then select the projects for participation in the Citizen Science Award 2023. The aim is to offer as diverse a range of scientific projects as possible, which allow for different forms of engagement. The selected projects will be notified at the beginning of December 2022.
