Our contribution at the Conference of Higher Education Network "Education through Responsibility"

The annual conference of the higher education network "Education through Responsibility" will take place from 29 to 30 September 2022 at the University of Teacher Education Upper Austria in Linz. The theme of the annual conference this year is "Future Partnerships between Higher Education and Society. Campus-Community-Partnerships revisited". The OeAD is one of the cooperation partners.

The focus is on the following questions: To what extent can knowledge transfer and social engagement contribute to mutual added value for universities and civil society actors? What role can service learning, community-based research, social entrepreneurship or citizen science as well as innovative research and development perspectives for future partnerships play in this?

We are very pleased that our contribution "Citizen Science as an approach for inquiry-based learning at school and out-of-school learning sites in teacher education and training" was accepted by the conference jury and that we can shed light on the conference topic from the perspective of citizen science and schools.
