Last week, the meeting of the working group "Citizen Science at/with schools" took place during the platform meeting of Österreich forscht. At the beginning, the OeAD Centre for Citizen Science, in its capacity as working group chair, gave an overview of the jointly developed brochure "Citizen Science - Research with schools. Basics, recommendations & practical tips for joint projects" and presented the submissions and winners of the Citizen Science creative competition.

The participants devoted the rest of their time to the checklist for teachers and researchers, which is currently being developed. This will complement the brochure and provide readers with a quick overview of the most important steps in the planning and implementation of citizen science projects. Participants gave valuable feedback on how the checklist could be improved.

Many thanks to all for participating and for the fruitful exchange!
