After the increase of the science and research budget the OeAD was able to set the new edition of the research program "Sparkling Science". OeAD Managing Director Jakob Calice commented: "In Sparkling Science scientists work together with children and young people on current research questions and are thus motivated to do research. In this way we ensure a broader understanding of research in the population and motivate talented young people to take up studies in the medium term". The program, which was positively evaluated by the Court of Audit, will thus be able to ensure that science is more firmly anchored in schools and society in the future. Information on the further development of the program will be posted on our website in the coming months.
