APA- Science Event: (In)comprehensible science?

How do you communicate complex content to the public? This was the topic of the APA Science Event on November 19, 2020. Our colleague Petra Siegele was invited as a speaker.

Understanding scientific contributions is often a science in itself. For example, abstract formulations and foreign words put people off despite their interest in the content. Experts - including Petra Siegele, head of the OeAD Center for Citizen Science - discussed how complex topics can be prepared in such a way that they reach the broadest possible public.
