Survey on staff development in higher education

The project Staff development for learning and teaching at European universities (STAFF-DEV) aims to analyse and strengthen staff development and evaluation at European higher education institutions, focusing in particular on the relevance of teaching for academic careers. To map and analyse existing approaches of European higher education institutions, the STAFF-DEV consortium asks for responses to this survey.

STAFF-DEV is coordinated by the European University Association (EUA) and implemented together with the University College Cork (Ireland), the University of Oslo (Norway), Utrecht University (the Netherlands) and Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany).

All European higher education institutions can take part in the survey until June 21, 2024. The study will be published by fall 2024, the outcomes of focus groups and a literature review will follow by early 2025.
