Code of Conduct

The OeAD lives its values. With this in mind, our events provide space for respectful and welcoming discourse – free from harassment. If you wish to attend our events and participate in them actively or passively you must agree to our code of conduct.

  1. No animals are allowed, except assistance dogs
  2. No smoking in the event building
  3. No alcohol, drugs, weapons or other dangerous objects
  4. No party political activities or activities that violate legal regulations
  5. The OeAD does not assume any liability for valuables, including clothing, mobile phones and laptops.
  6. The instructions of our staff must be followed.
  7. In case of serious violations (e.g. also in the case of intentional damage or soiling), access may be denied or house bans may be imposed.
  8. Taking photos and video and audio recordings without our express consent is forbidden.
  9. We do not tolerate any form of violence or toxicity based on gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnic origin or nationality, religion or belief, disability or social origin.

What does harassment include:

  • Persistent disruption of events
  • Disrespectful, discriminatory, degrading behaviour
  • Threatening or using violence, including verbal and physical attacks
  • Inappropriate and non-consensual physical contact
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking or pursuit
  • Approval or encouragement of any of the above behaviours

If someone violates our OeAD Code of Conduct we will take action and exclude the person from this and any future events.

If you notice someone in a threatening situation, please let us know immediately at the event!
