In an extensive application and selection process almost all the lectureship positions that had become vacant were filled this year. On July 1st and 2nd the introductory seminar for those new lecturers who will start work in 19 different countries in the autumn took place in the OeAD building.
In the coming week a subject-specific preparatory course will follow, which will be organised by the University of Vienna's Postgraduate Centre and is intended to prepare the new lecturers for their future teaching and cultural mediation activities.
We are delighted about the successful start and the many interested young people who will enrich the OeAD lectureship programme in the coming years!
