"Brennpunkt WissKomm" Conference
On September 24, 2022, the conference "Brennpunkt WissKomm" will take place at the University of Graz. The program includes presentations by science communicators, best practice examples and interdisciplinary exchange.
The conference is organized by the Center for Society, Knowledge and Communication - "die 7. fakultät". It offers insights into experiences of leading experts in the field of science communication. Different topics, such as science communication on social media, gamification, science spotlights in the guesthouse or podcasts as a medium for science communication, will be addressed and approaches in different disciplines will be presented.
The conference ends with a scientific cinema evening of a different kind. Under the title "Jesus, Judas, Beyond", films with theological content will be scrutinized. Fritz Treiber from “Mitmachlabore Graz” will discuss films of different genres with the fundamental theologian Christian Wessely.
