On September 20, 2022, LBG's Open Innovation in Science Center will host a webinar on research ethics in participatory research projects.
The event is aimed at researchers and practitioners who plan or conduct participatory research projects with citizens in general and with patients in particular. After a brief introduction to research ethics of projects with human participants, a look at applied research practice in Austria and internationally will be given. In addition to methods and techniques, specific ethical challenges will be illustrated by practical examples. Furthermore, the webinar will provide participants with tips on where to obtain information, support and a formal ethics review of their research project.
