Webinar: Monitoring Groundwater in South Africa through Citizen Science

On 3 March, ECSA and EU-Citizen.Science will be holding a webinar in which Jaqui Goldin will talk about a groundwater-monitoring citizen science project in Limpopo Province, South Africa. In the project, citizen scientists collect data on groundwater levels and rainfall and store it on a smartphone, from where it is uploaded to the web. The data is then available to the Department of Water and Sanitation and others.
