Burkina Faso. When fish fall from the sky

This is still a widespread belief in the local population. Fish inhabit a wide variety of aquatic habitats and can also disappear as if by magic. Fish are very important for food security in Africa. They react very sensitively to anthropogenic interventions and are thus particularly vulnerable.
