Teaching German at universities worldwide – 14 positions are still open for application until 9 June 2024.

The OeAD's lectureship programme is a mobility programme for teaching the German language, literature and regional studies of Austria at universities abroad. Graduates with a Magister or master's degree in humanities or cultural studies are welcome to apply.

The programme is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and implemented by the OeAD on the basis of funding agreements with university departments and higher education institutions abroad.

Lectureships enable the establishment of sustainable relations between Austria and the host country through teaching activities lasting several years and thus constitute an important instrument of Austrian cultural and academic education in higher education abroad.
