The Swiss Citizen Science Conference takes place every two years and serves primarily as a forum for exchange between the Swiss research and citizen science community.
Conference motto
In 2023, the conference will be held under the motto "Citizen Science - Impact through Participation!" with the following focal points:
- Basics of impact contexts and impact logic
- Impact of Citizen Science in research, society, nature/environment, economy, politics
- Instruments and practical approaches for planning, measuring, assessing and communicating impact
- Strategies for the promotion of an impact-oriented Citizen Science
Programm
In January the provisional program was published. Petra Siegele, the head of the OeAD Center for Citizen Science, will be also there. She will give a presentation on the second day of the conference entitled "On the trail of Sparkling Science: Effects of a Citizen Science funding program".
