The Journal of Higher Education Development invites submissions on Campus-Community-Partnerships from a variety of perspectives.

Titled “Campus-Community-Partnerships: Future Partnerships between Higher Education and Society” a themed issue of the Journal for Higher Education Development will be published in June 2023, focusing on the different ways in which higher education institutions and external partners collaborate. Campus-Community-Partnerships (CCPs) are among the central strategic goals of higher education institutions, as they profitably combine science transfer and social engagement for all involved.

This issue is dedicated to the establishment of CCPs in German-speaking countries. These and other questions can be addressed:

  • How can CCPs be located in the discussion about "third mission" and "transfer" in terms of educational science and educational policy?
  • How are CCPs embedded in higher education teaching in formats such as inquiry-based learning, service-learning, community-based research, social entrepreneurship, or citizen science?
  • What is the impact of CCPs on learners, teachers, higher education institutions, practice partners, the community, and other stakeholders involved?

Contributions can be submitted in German or English until January 16, 2023.
