Symposium: Inclusivity in citizen science

Volunteering in environmental monitoring is very important in the UK and has continued to increase in recent years. However, the diversity of citizen science or community science volunteers does not reflect the broader population, suggesting that more needs to be done to encourage engagement among all members of society. UKEOF is organizing a symposium on November 29th that will include a series of talks on inclusion in citizen science, with examples from the UK and elsewhere. The target group is people who are involved in the implementation of citizen science projects. Participants will have time for questions and discussions.
