Today’s pressing issues require well-rounded approaches, such as employing citizen science methodologies, and they benefit from incorporating a variety of disciplines and knowledge bases, including those found in the social sciences and humanities. By creating calls that specifically support the contributions that social sciences & humanities citizen science practices offer, funders push the frontiers of science to better serve society.
