Experts4scholars: Online workshop about culture
As it is not possible to meet in persons at the moment, we have organized another – hopefully interesting – workshop for you. Come and meet other scholars, interact, reflect on the topic and get new ideas, which shall be helpful for your integration in Austria: This time our topic is # Culture „How culture influences the way we see the world“

Target group: This event is only for incoming OeAD scholarship holders.
Registered persons will receive the link to participate shortly before the event. Participants with continuous presence receive a certificate of attendance.

#Culture „How culture influences the way we see the world“ Understanding the connection between self and culture and what it means for our intercultural encounters Culture is the glue that unites a group of people. It is defined by a common understanding of values and its respective behaviors. The relationship between culture and individual is defined along the polarities of the need to belong and the wish for a unique identity. In this training we discover the impact of culture on the way we see the world and on our behaviour. We reflect our personal values and try to find out how they connect to our cultural upbringing. Engaging in a dialogue we exchange on similarities and differences and deepen our understanding and tolerance towards different perceptions and ways to act and react.
