Begleitgruppe Hochschulstandort Österreich
In implementing its objectives, the OeAD is supported by an advisory body ("Begleitgruppe Hochschulstandort Österreich"), which is composed of representatives of the stakeholders involved, the umbrella organisations of the higher education institutions and those responsible for internationalisation at the higher education institutions.
The group was founded in 2021 and serves as a platform for discussion and exchange on the international orientation of the Austrian higher education landscape. It provides a framework for the presentation and critical evaluation of initiatives in order to identify opportunities, evaluate risks and assess potential from a technical and strategic perspective. In view of global developments and trends in international cooperation, it is necessary to continuously adapt Austria's strategic orientation in the field of academic mobility.
