CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a multilateral mobility programme with Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. Students and lecturers can apply for a stay abroad, funded by the respective host country, as part of a CEEPUS network. Both shorter (excursions lasting at least three days) and longer stays (up to ten months) can be supported.

An assistant professorship is funded to support the research activities of the Center for Austrian Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Applications are open to outstanding postdocs from Austrian universities. The appointment shall be for one academic year, starting October 2026. The tasks of this assistant professor are: collaborating with the Center for Austrian Studies, teaching and research activities including the planning of new research projects, fostering collaboration and cooperation between Austrian and Israeli educational and scientific institutions.

The Marietta Blau Grants of the Austrian Centres (formally known as Doctoral Research Fellowships) are aimed at highly qualified doctoral candidates who wish to complete a research stay at an institute of the Austria Centers. The fellowship serves to optimise their doctoral thesis.

The ASEA-UNINET project funding aims to promote bilateral and multilateral projects in the areas of research, research-led teaching and the arts between the Austrian ASEA-UNINET member universities (incl. candidate members) and member universities in South East Asia.

All fields of research are supported (natural sciences, technical sciences, human medicine, health sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences, humanities, arts). The ASEAN-European Academic University Network supports exchange of knowledge between partner universities; its main activity is the organisation and financial support of transcontinental exchange of (prospective) scientists and the transfer of knowledge associated with it.

Über einen Zeitraum von 2 bis 12 Monate setzt du gemeinsam mit fünf Freundinnen und Freunden eine Projektidee um. Egal, ob ihr im Umweltschutz tätig werden wollt, euch in der Flüchtlingsbetreuung oder Nachbarschaftshilfe engagiert oder mittels Kunst- und Kulturprojekten Menschen bewegt – Aktivitäten, die eure Umgebung positiv beeinflussen, werden durch das Europäische Solidaritätskorps gefördert. Das heißt: Ihr bestimmt, in welchem Bereich ihr aktiv werden wollt!

Der Young Science Inspiration Award ist ein Preis des OeAD für schulische Abschlussarbeiten. Maturantinnen und Maturanten, die ihre schulischen Abschlussarbeiten basierend auf einem Vorschlag der Young-Science-Themenplattform verfasst haben, können diese jährlich beim OeAD einreichen. Wenn die Arbeit einen inspirierenden, innovativen Gedanken für die Forschung enthält, werden die Jugendlichen für den Preis nominiert. Aus allen Nominierungen wählt eine Fachjury die drei spannendsten Arbeiten aus, welche im Rahmen des Young-Science-Kongresses im Herbst 2026 auf der Bühne präsentiert werden können.

Im Schuljahr 2025/26 lädt der Kreativwettbewerb des BMB Schülerinnen und Schüler ein, das Thema „connect.create.care“ künstlerisch zu bearbeiten. Gesucht werden Beiträge zum Zusammenspiel von Kunst, KI und Schule zwischen Pixel, Pinsel und Poesie: Wie verändern KI-Angebote Lernen, Denken, Fühlen und Gestalten? Eingereicht und prämiert werden Projekte von Schulen in allen Kunstsparten, die mit kreativen, künstlerischen Methoden und Techniken durchgeführt wurden – von bildnerischen Arbeiten, Filmen, Fotografien, Architekturentwürfen, Designerstücken und Texten bis hin zu digitalen Spielen und Radiosendungen. Eine Jury wählt die besten Projekte aus.

Der OeAD lädt Schulen aus ganz Österreich ein, einen Young-Science-Tag zu organisieren und in die Welt der Forschung einzutauchen. Was genau die Kinder und Jugendlichen dabei erlebt haben, wird anschließend auf unkomplizierte Weise dokumentiert (z.B. Fotos, Zitate, Videos, Bilder) und beim OeAD eingereicht. Beim jährlich im Herbst stattfindenden Young-Science-Kongress werden die Schulen, die die spannendsten Forschungstage organisiert haben, vor den Vorhang geholt und mit Geldpreisen für die Klassenkassa ausgezeichnet!
