On 1 March, 2021 the first call for applications of the third phase of the Austrian Partnership Program for Higher Education and Research for Development - APPEAR will open. The initial basic information in the most important official languages of the partner countries offers a brief overview of the key points of the program.

APPEAR in practice_15: Transdisciplinary approaches for university-community cooperation

Project partners from BOKU Vienna, Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Tbilisi State University (TSU), and IMC FH Krems presented their project, its results and outcomes and the network they established in the Caucasus region. Furthermore, recent PhD graduate and APPEAR alumni Lela Khartishvili from Georgia and current APPEAR scholarship holder Tigran Keryan from Armenia introduced the recently published manual for university lecturers.

APPEAR III - new programme phase starts in December 2020

OeAD is pleased to announce that the successful APPEAR programme will continue. The Austrian Development Agency has commissioned the OeAD to implement the third phase, starting on the 1st of December 2020. The programme will run for another 7 years, until November 2027. The revision of the programme design and preparations for the next call have already started.
