Edu4GEO2 project partners contributed to the exchange by presenting their research on geomatics education and women's land rights in Ethiopia.

Edu4GEO2 | Report on the 3rd project year

The second cohort of the Master’s in Geomatics began in October 2026, with most courses delivered online through team teaching. In cooperation with DMU and two Austrian universities, practical trainings were delivered to Ethiopian land administration experts. DMU also offered targeted land-rights courses for local female farmers. Key teaching and research infrastructure purchased in Austria was delivered to Ethiopian partners.

In the second project year of COVIOCRIM, we focused on expanding our training activities for managers of violence protection facilities and medical staff, worked on implementing our textbook and supplementary online content, established the Legal Aid Clinic as a contact point for victims of domestic violence, and launched a Georgia-wide awareness-raising campaign.
