Prior to the APAIE Annual Conference, the Austria - India Higher Education Cooperation Forum, organised by Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD) on March 24, 2025 in New Delhi, India, offered the opportunity to enhance collaboration between Austrian and Indian higher education institutions. The event provided a framework for networking and exchange of projects and various forms for cooperation. Panel sessions on academic cooperation between Austria and India as well as presentations of best practice examples from different higher education institutions highlighted, why bilateral cooperation projects are indispensable and enhance excellence.
The day ended with an evening reception at the Residence of the Austrian Ambassador to India, Ms. Katharina Wieser.
