Let's talk: Global perspectives on participatory research

How is collaborative research organised, funded and embedded within scientific systems around the world? Through the international supporting programme SPOTLIGHTS, the TD-Lab – Laboratory for Transdisciplinary Research at the Berlin University Alliance – is placing this question at the heart of PartWiss 26, Germany’s largest conference on participation in science (2–4 September 2026, Berlin).

In June and July 2026, selected international fellows will host online talks to present institutions, funding structures and individuals who facilitate and sustainably embed transdisciplinary and participatory research, as well as public engagement, worldwide. Through dialogue with the audience, they will share insights into their experiences and discuss ways in which these approaches can be applied to the research landscape.

Researchers are warmly invited to take part in the online talks.
