The aim of the survey is to gain a better understanding of the needs, challenges and framework conditions for the use of citizen science and citizen-generated data in European decision-making and implementation processes. The findings will be incorporated into the project’s policy-related work packages and are intended to help strengthen collaboration between research, civil society initiatives and public institutions.
Researchers with expertise in citizen science, environmental monitoring, data management or evidence-based policymaking are particularly invited to contribute their perspectives and play an active role in shaping the future development of this field of research and application.
The survey is open until 30 June 2026 – it takes around 10 minutes to complete.
