Citizen Science Global Partnership is recruiting a Program and Project Officer in Austria

The Citizen Science Global Partnership (CSGP) is an international network dedicated to advancing citizen science in the context of sustainable development. Through its work, the CSGP aims to make citizen science more accessible for official monitoring, statistics, and evidence-based policymaking, while connecting organizations, networks, and dedicated individuals worldwide.

The advertised position as “Program and Project Officer” primarily involves the coordination and implementation of international research projects, including new initiatives on biodiversity and plastic litter funded by the European Commission. Responsibilities include project management, financial and administrative coordination, communications, stakeholder engagement, and participation in research and fundraising activities. CSGP is seeking applicants at various career stages with experience or a strong interest in citizen science, EU-funded projects, international cooperation, and sustainable development.

The position is based at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Laxenburg near Vienna, with a planned start date of October 1, 2026.
