

The aim is to jointly develop innovative business models and solve innovation challenges in three areas: protecting oceans and waters, climate-neutral cities and health.
Companies and citizen science projects based in Europe, cross-border partnerships are also possible. Previous experience in citizen science is not required, but is an advantage. The application phase runs from April 1 to 15, 2025, and the selected partnerships will take part in three online workshops from May to June 2025 in which they will jointly develop sustainable business models. Companies gain access to new data sources, strengthen their innovative power and tap into funding opportunities. Citizen science projects can increase their reach, transfer knowledge and build new partnerships.
About the ECS project
The European Citizen Science (ECS) project strengthens the citizen science community in Europe through capacity building and awareness raising. This includes the establishment of a European Citizen Science Academy and a network of 28 Citizen Science Ambassadors.
