The OeAD in scientific cooperation between Austria and Ukraine

On 22 May 2025 the information event ‘United for Science: Austria and Ukraine Together’ on cooperation between Austria and Ukraine in science took place in Vienna. The event was initiated by the Ukrainian Science Diaspora in Austria (USciDA) and hosted by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria. The meeting brought together representatives of the Ukrainian scientific community and Austrian institutions that support the development of academic partnerships and thereby strengthen scientific cooperation.

The Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD) not only had the opportunity to present its programmes at the event but was also honoured for its support and commitment to academic solidarity through its wide range of funding programmes for Ukrainian researchers. We are very grateful for the award and the opportunity to take part in this event.
