The Citizen Science Awards co-research period starts on 1 April and invites research-enthusiastic citizen scientists of all ages and from all population groups to join in the research and immerse themselves in the world of science until 31 July.
Document amphibian calls, research invasive mosquito species, evaluate urban spaces and mobility, recognise and analyse dialects, link mathematics with topics relevant to everyday life, explore the multilingualism of your own environment and carry out tests on soil health: The topics and opportunities for participation are diverse and offer points of contact for many interests.
School classes and youth groups can take part in all seven projects, individuals in four and families in three. All information on the participating projects and the registration modalities can be found HERE.
The most committed Citizen Scientists will be honoured at a festive ceremony as part of the 4th Young Science Congress. This will take place on 23 October in cooperation with the Johannes Keppler University Linz and the Ars Electronica Center.
