The event ‘Science Communication as Knowledge Transfer: European Best Practices & Perspectives’ will take place on 20 and 21 May 2025 at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. It is dedicated to the role of science communication as an essential component of knowledge transfer between research and society.

Key content and objectives:

  • Discussion of European best practice examples and innovative approaches in science communication.
  • Exploration of synergies between the practical application of scientific knowledge and the promotion of social awareness of research.
  • To develop new ideas for the European Research Innovation and Transfer (RIT) sector.

     

Participation and registration:

  • Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
  • A livestream of the public sessions is planned.
