STEAM for Tomorrow: From Erasmus+ Results to Skills and Policy in Higher Education
30-31 October 2025
Lunch to lunch
Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria
This international event focuses on current topics of European projects on the use and promotion of STEAM methodologies in higher education.
This event aims to promote the visibility and exchange of results from Erasmus+ projects in the field of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). We will focus particularly on the impact of STEAM approaches on higher education in STEM subjects. Together, we will discuss how STEAM fosters innovative learning outcomes, key competences and future skills, enables new teaching and learning methods, and contributes to the development of innovative curricula. Increasing the attractiveness of STEM studies remains at the core of our concerns, especially with a special focus on inclusion and gender equality.
With this event, we pursue the following goals:
- Providing successful projects with an opportunity to disseminate their outcomes and for experts to deepen their knowledge
- Facilitating networking in the European Higher Education STEAM Community
- Deriving recommendations for policy discussions on European and national level
Target group:
Participants of the event are coordinators and partners in past and current Erasmus+ partnerships on topics related to STEAM in higher education, as well as Austrian experts on STE(A)M and interested members of the European Commission working group on higher education.
