Citizen Scientist workshop on research infrastructures

What is it about?

The focus is on the experiences, needs and perspectives of citizen scientists. Together, we would like to discuss:

• What challenges arise when participating in research?
• What technical tools or platforms would be helpful?
• How can data and research results be better communicated and networked?

Background

The workshop is part of the European RIECS-Concept project, which is laying the foundation for a future European citizen science research infrastructure. The aim is to make citizen science more accessible, networked and sustainable. The OeAD is the Austrian partner in the project and is organising a series of workshops with and for citizen scientists.

Your feedback will be directly incorporated into the development of future tools and structures – your perspective counts! Whether you have been involved in citizen science for decades or have only just participated in one project, your experiences and ideas are valuable to the initiative.

Participation

Registration by email to elisabeth.schauermann@oead.at is required by 26 September, and participation is only possible after confirmation of registration. Please indicate which project or initiative you have already been involved in.
