Scholarships awarded for the College of Europe

With the aim of offering outstanding young students the opportunity to undertake an excellent postgraduate education in Europe and, in the long term, to increase the proportion of Austrians pursuing careers in European institutions, the Federal Chancellery funds scholarships for the renowned College of Europe (Collège d’Europe) in Bruges and Natolin, and, since 2024, also at the new Tirana campus. The OeAD is responsible for the application and selection process, in close consultation with the College and the Federal Chancellery.

On 7 July 2026, Claudia Bauer, Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Family, formally awarded three students with their scholarships to study at the College of Europe, where they will commence their studies in September.
