Digital learning materials: quality-assured and free to use
On the Learning Apps Marketplace platform schools can find certified digital learning apps that they can order within their allocated quota and use free of charge in the classroom. Schools are free to choose which learning apps they want to use.
All learning apps have undergone a quality assurance process carried out by the OeAD. The marketplace thus offers schools easy access to high-quality applications and facilitates their use in the classroom.
The marketplace supports individual learning, promotes self-directed and cooperative work and strengthens safe and competent use of digital devices.
Pilot phase: Registration and ordering
Secondary schools (except part-time vocational schools) can register for the pilot programme from 26 January to 27 March 2026.
The catalogue of available learning apps will be available as of 23 February 2026 and will be continuously updated until 15 March 2026.
The order period runs from 23 February to 27 March 2026. The licences are semester licences valid from 1 March to 31 August 2026. The OeAD provides support in case of questions about the ordering process.
