Review: OeAD at the biblio aktiv trade fair

For the seventh time, the biblio aktiv trade fair offered librarians from all over Lower Austria a lively platform for exchange, information and networking. Over 150 participants accepted the invitation to the Lower Austrian State Library in St. Pölten to find out about the latest developments, creative ideas and practical offers for library work.

The OeAD was also represented among the 50 exhibitors - at the Citizen Science Award stand, numerous librarians found out how they can integrate the research competition and Citizen Science into their daily work in libraries with visitors. Many conversations revealed the potential that libraries have as lively places of learning and encounter. They not only provide spaces for carrying out co-research projects, but also offer a good networking opportunity for people of all ages who are interested in Citizen Science.
