Citizen Science Seminar: KoKo-Health
Health literacy is more than just knowledge about diseases—it influences how we search for, understand, and use health information and thus make self-determined health decisions.
In the KoKo-Health project, young people become researchers themselves. As co-researchers (citizen scientists) and experts in their own lives, they conduct research on health literacy together with adult scientists.
In this presentation, Sigrid Moick (University for Continuing Education Krems), Karolina Seidl (University for Continuing Education Krems), and Anna Wahl (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH) provide insights into their joint research with young people.
