Science Communication Forum
The Science Communication Forum 2025 will take place in Stuttgart under the motto “Algorithms, platforms and AI: science communication in the digital transformation”. Digitalization is fundamentally changing science communication. Digital platforms control the visibility of content, algorithms influence public debates and artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the production and dissemination of knowledge. While social media and digital networks are opening up new opportunities for interaction and participation, they are also increasing the fragmentation of the public sphere and presenting science communication with new challenges.
At the same time, we are experiencing rapid technological progress: generative AI tools are now widely available and are changing not only professional fields, but also the way in which content is created, processed and disseminated. How can we use these developments productively for science communication? What strategies are needed to communicate science in a visible, trustworthy and effective way?
