83rd ScienceCenter network meeting
How can schools, informal learning centers, and parents work together to encourage girls and young women in STEM? The ScienceCenter, in cooperation with MINT Salzburg, invites you to its 83rd network meeting, which will focus on the topic of “Gender & STEM” with an emphasis on collaborations that can have a particular impact, for example, within the framework of STEM learning ecosystems.
A keynote speech by Prof. Burkhard Gniewosz (University of Salzburg) will provide insights into evidence-based research on gender, STEM, and school and extracurricular influences on the development of children and young people.
Cornelia Brunnauer (KOMPASS – Educational Counseling for Girls) will then present key findings from the M*Power project, which offers workshops for girls in STEM fields and awareness training for educators and caregivers.
