Online Network Lunch. How can science communication deal with disinformation?
The focus is on the systematic review developed by the Science Communication Transfer Unit entitled “How can science communication deal with disinformation? Research landscape and recommendations from research for communication practice.” The study summarizes international research and systematically evaluates which measures against disinformation have been proven effective, which formats can strengthen trust in science, and what role scientists and research institutions play in this process.
Dr. Christian Schuster, author of the study and researcher at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, will present the key findings and open them up for discussion on how they can be applied in practice.
