Final presentation: "Caring Cultures in end-of-life care"
In the Sparkling Science project “SoKuL,” school pupils, university students, and citizen scientists worked together to explore cultures of care at the end of life.
Intergenerational and intercultural storytelling cafés and narrative interviews created a space in which experiences, stories, and reflections on care, dying, and mindfulness could be shared.
The results of the citizen science project will now be presented in an online final presentation on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. In addition to insights into the storytelling cafés, participants can expect ideas for listening, reflections on intergenerational and intercultural storytelling, and connections to their own practice.
Program highlights:
- Insights into stories about the end of life
- Findings from the storytelling cafés
- Practical references and discussion in plenary
Participation is free of charge, but registration by email to Ilona Wenger (ilona.wenger1@chello.at) is required by September 22, 2025, at the latest.
