The radio programme Welt im Ohr (world in your ear) celebrated its 5th anniversary. On this occasion the editorial team of Welt im Ohr created an anniversary CD by re-contextualizing excerpts from selected broadcasts. The CD was presented on 30th of March 2017 at the RadioCafe in Vienna.
In the course of this celebration a one-hour anniversary broadcast of Welt im Ohr was recorded in front of and together with the audience. Jacqueline Murekasenge, a current PhD candidate at the University Vienna was invited to tell us about her experiences as a student in Austria and what she does to get to know the new environment and to feel at home.
