SOAA project: First class to graduate from the brand new Organic Agriculture Masters Programme

10. November 2022
Flowers, smiles, high spirits, all these completed the festive mood at the past National Agrarian University of Armenia graduation ceremony. But this was no ordinary graduation ceremony: The first Organic Agriculture Masters Programm students received their master's degrees and entered the next "organic" phase of their lives.

At the event, the dean of the Faculty of Agronomy Armenak Ter-Grigoryan, the vice-dean Sasun Mamajanyan, the head of the chair of Crop Cultivation and Soil Science Gagik Tovmasyan, the lecturer and chair Naira Gasparyan, the co-founder of EDNA LLC Ruzanna Kartashyan, and the head of the ''Organic Armenia'' Agricultural Association Lusine Nalbandyan who is also the lead of the current SOAA project made a speech of welcome and voiced their best wishes. The students also expressed their gratitude to the faculty and master’s theses supervisors for equipping them with professional knowledge on organic agriculture.

Once again, we would like to offer congratulations and best of luck for their new beginnings in this important and responsible work aimed at the further development of the field of organic agriculture in Armenia and beyond. We at SOAA project are convinced that with a professional approach, great motivation and desire, a great contribution can be made to the important goal of organic agriculture development in Armenia.

The Organic Agriculture Masters Programm was participatorily disigned and developed within the previous BOAA project implemented by BOKU and ANAU. For further information visit the BOAA-webpage.
