The OeAD submission platform will be open from 1 September 2026, 8:00 a.m., until 30 October 2026, 12 noon. The call documents will already be available on www.sparklingscience.at from 1 August 2026. First information on the call is already available in the current Guideline (2021–2026) (available in German only).
Through this research funding programme, projects will once again be supported in which research and educational institutions jointly address current scientific questions – and, wherever possible, collaborate with partners from business and society – in order to generate new research findings.
We look forward to receiving numerous innovative project ideas, many submissions and exciting research collaborations.

Looking for research partners?
Are you a research institution looking for interested partner schools for your project? Or are you working at a school and would like to collaborate with a research institution on a Sparkling Science project? For the 3rd call for proposals, a Sparkling Science Research Partner Exchange will once again be available to help bring suitable partners together. It will be available on www.sparklingscience.at from 1 August 2026.
