Networks for the future: Submit your STEM region now

STEM regions strengthen education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through close cooperation between schools, research institutions, and businesses.
1 min read · 03. February 2026

MINT regions make a key contribution to promoting mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology, and to training young talent. As regional networks, they connect partners in education, business, and research and strengthen MINT education throughout the entire educational journey—from kindergarten to professional practice.

The federal government supports the establishment and expansion of these dedicated networks. Submissions will be accepted starting February 23, 2026.

The program is aimed at research institutions, schools, and other education and network partners, among others.
