For two years now, regular spotlights have been held in which Sparkling Science project representatives share their experiences and pass on lessons learned to the research community and interested parties.
In Ocotber 2025, the online event series will continue – with a few new features! In the Spotlights planned for the winter semester, researchers will present their Sparkling Science projects together with participating teachers for the first time, providing exciting insights into the collaboration between schools and science. The Spotlights will also have specific themes.
The first Spotlight will take place on October 8 from 12 to 1 p.m. and will take the start of the school year in the fall as an opportunity to focus on “STEM.” Participating researchers and teachers from three Sparkling Science projects in the STEM field will report on the opportunities citizen science offers to strengthen STEM education. Afterward, there will be time for questions during the online event.
Further events related to Sparkling Science projects can also be found on the new events page.
