The resource collection compiled by the “Citizen Science in/with Schools” working group provides an overview of materials and opportunities for collaboration between schools and the scientific community in the field of citizen science. It is intended for both teachers who wish to integrate citizen science into their lessons and researchers who want to collaborate with schools.
The resource collection has been restructured so that the content is organized specifically for each of the two target groups. This makes it easier to find relevant information and materials. In addition, where relevant, information has been added regarding the school levels for which the materials are suitable.
Furthermore, the collection has been expanded to include new resources. In addition to scientific publications and handouts, it now also includes new teaching materials, audiovisual materials such as podcasts, and course offerings on implementing citizen science in education, particularly in a school setting.
The resource collection is continuously updated, and recommendations for additional resources can be submitted via email to [email protected].
