After a welcome by representatives of the Austrian Federal Ministry and the FHK there was a presentation on the legal basis and practical handling of determining the evidential value of documents in the course of diplomatic certification and alternative verification options. Following the discussion, the FHK and the FHK General Secretariat discussed current individual cases from practice and presented relevant references to existing legal information.

The afternoon included a keynote interview between ENIC NARIC AUSTRIA | Credential Evaluation at the OeAD and the FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences the topic of which was: ‘Experiences from higher education practice with a focus on Pakistan’, followed by a keynote presentation on recommendations for priority countries for the assessment of entry qualifications, using Bosnia and Herzegovina as an example. As always, this meeting of experts was characterised by a stimulating and informative exchange.

The focus topic proposed for the next workshop in the autumn of 2026 was the African region and related issues of admission.
