TinkerLib: New collection of methods from EU project published

The ScienceCenter network and libraries from France, the Netherlands, Italy, Serbia, and Austria jointly developed tinkering activities that combine technical crafting with language. The activities are aimed particularly at educationally disadvantaged adults, who were also involved in their development.

The Erasmus+ project has resulted in a comprehensive collection of methods that will make it easier for researchers to access proven scientific procedures in the future. The aim of the project was to bundle innovative approaches and provide standardized tools for research and practice.

The collection brought together methods from different disciplines and offered structured instructions for their application in interdisciplinary fields of research. It was developed by a European consortium of universities, research institutions, and practice partners.

Particular focus was placed on the transferability of the methods to different contexts. The collection was made freely available online to promote the open exchange of knowledge and facilitate cooperation across disciplines and national borders.

This publication provides researchers with a bundled repertoire of tools that will help make their everyday scientific work more efficient and transparent.
